Description
Toasty (or ToastyTime) is both a lauded RPG Maker game developer and YouTuber. Created by RPG Maker obssesed youth Jonah Scott, ToastyTime has been spreading RPG Maker mania to the masses since 2017.
History
The ToastyTime YouTube channel was created at a video game focused afterschool camp in 2017 when Jonah was 12. Initially started as RPGTime, from the beginning it has been dedicated almost solely to RPG Maker. Creating tutorials, reviews, and funny gameplay videos, ToastyTime has become both a place for authoritative RPG Maker developer advice and of comforting entertainment.
Even in 2017, ToastyTime had always been working on independent video game projects in the background. His first release however didn’t come until 2020, just as he graduated middle school. Aimi has since received very positive reviews from over 100 reviews for its evocative story and engaging puzzle mechanics! 5 years of focusing on the YouTube channel later and Jonah decided he missed making video games. Taking everything he learned from Aimi, along with the passion of a lifelong indie game developer, he began work on Grimdelve.
Grimdelve
Grimdelve is a role playing game where you shape your characters’ personalities. In grim, apocalyptic caverns, guide two lost souls and turn them into mysterious weirdos, charismatic smooth-talkers, or nonsensical hypocrites. Sneak past enemies, try to understand them, or beat them to a pulp. ~40 minute long demo out now on Steam!
